ABOUT US
In 2005, I was hired to create and manage Arapahoe High School’s Post Graduate Center, a challenge I embraced wholeheartedly. As a result of my daughters’ experiences navigating the college search and admissions process, I envisioned an inviting, inclusive program that supported 2050 students and prepared them for their transition from high school to college, a program focused on students. I recruited and trained 45-50 volunteers each year to help me carry out my vision: to build a comprehensive, full service college counseling program that prioritized strong relationships with students, so they felt comfortable asking for help at any time.
Each year, hundreds of Arapahoe High School students sought my guidance in their college search, asked for assistance for essay writing and scholarship applications, and used me as a confidential, objective sounding board for college decision making. I earned a reputation for my enthusiasm and energy, my dedication to each and every student and my hard work on their behalf. I am thrilled to bring my commitment and expertise to SpeakWrite LLC as I continue what I loved most as Post Graduate Center Specialist: assisting students with essay writing and editing along with interview skills and practice.

As a young child, I remember writing imaginary stories and talking on my hairbrush “microphone” to a rapt audience of stuffed animals on my bed. Fast forward to young adulthood, where I spent 10 years as an Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist and producer at TV stations across the country. Two kids later, I wrote freelance publicity articles for the Littleton Public Schools Foundation, and spoke as President of PTOs, booster clubs, and accountability committees. Now, as the parent of two college graduates, I’m committed to helping students ace their applications, impress their interviewers, and make their own childhood dreams come true.
