Tip of the Month-August, 2009

I have seen this error many times over the last several months and think I can help everyone who is unsure about the correct usage of these two words.  Therefore, here goes:

"A LOT" is two words.

"CANNOT" is one word.

I hope this helps everyone, because people often tell me that they are unsure about it.
